FOURTH OF JULY
On the Fourth of July Anya and I got up at the crack of dawn (my head is hurting just thinking about it) and went to the Freedom Festival Balloon Games. We has a great time. Anya went around and looked at all the balloons as they were being inflated and launched. Anna-Marie has to work that day :-< so she couldn't join us. After the Balloon Games we walked 13 blocks to Guru's and helped them open up for the first day of their Breakfast Menu. Good food - blueberry pancakes were great and the breakfast burrito is one of the best ones I've had. No take out though - They really should have a to go option. After Guru's we found my friends Kinga and Silwia and their families and watched the parade around 500 North and University Ave. The Ground was hard cement and I got a bit more sun than I had planned on but it was fun and we missed most of the crowds on the way back to the car.Later on in the day Anya corralled me into going swimming twice at the pool which while fun did nothing to help my sun burn.
